YOUNG VOICES with KRISTIN HUFFMAN

This class is geared toward the 8-12 year olds who really aren’t ready for individual lessons and would feel more comfortable learning to sing well with their friends or peers. Many private teachers will not take a student this young, but in our class the students will be given basic and fun ‘warm up’ exercise aimed at enforcing proper breath support and a pure, healthy sound. Simple songs will be learned in class and presented for each other in a supportive environment. If your child wants to audition for the school play or musical, THIS is the class that will help them do their best every time.......AND outshine the competition!

These classes will get you up and running !

PERFORMING ARTISTS WORKSHOP

Each week the student studies voice, acting and musical theater dance with three faculty members skilled in each area. We feel that those students wishing to perform during their school years, pre-professionally, pursuing the arts in college or professionally would ultimately benefit from this program.

No matter which of these three areas is your strong suit – every performer needs to be versatile enough to do all three!

We put this workshop series together in a manner that best utilizes the student’s, instructor’s and parents’ time. Combine that with the optimum use of talent, knowledge and expertise of our faculty, with the ability to have a student work on dialogue, song and dance movement from the same shows will truly benefit and enhance the student’s overall objective of becoming a “triple threat”.

At the end of each semester, family and friends will get to see first hand what the student has learned and how they will apply it practically in a performance! We welcome you to be part of this innovative theater arts program at PACC. Space is limited, so register early. Minimum 6 Maximum 12 Students per group.
